Certified copies of death certificates may be obtained at the City Clerk's Office for any death occurring in the City of St. Clair Shores after 1922. For any death prior to 1923, copies may be obtained at either Macomb County or the State of Michigan.
COST: $15 – first copy; $7.50 for each additional copy ordered at the same time.

To obtain certified copies of birth or death records, you may either apply by mail using the applications available through this website, place the application and payment in the white mailbox in front of City Hall, or you may visit the City Clerk's Office at the St. Clair Shores City Hall any weekday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
